At Klar, the frontend is how we translate complex data systems into simple, clear, and valuable customer outcomes. As a Senior Engineer, you will move beyond simply closing tickets; you will own ambiguous, multi-cycle projects and architect for the future—considering scalability and performance in your designs, not just as afterthoughts. We value long-term quality over short-term hacks, meaning we build systems that we are proud to own, maintain, and show to others.

Your Responsibilities:

• Own Complex Projects: You take high-level business goals ("epics") and break them down into concrete technical plans, designing and launching complex features or services.

• Set the Quality Standard: You write clean, testable, and maintainable code, actively addressing tech debt to leave the codebase better than you found it.

• Act as an Owner: You own project outcomes end-to-end—from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring in production—providing data-driven reasoning for technical trade-offs.

• Multiply the Team: You actively mentor and elevate L1 and L2 teammates, leading constructive design debates and making space for quieter voices to contribute.

• Partner with Product: You act as a "product thinker," respectfully challenging requirements to ensure they solve the root problem and connecting the "why" of a project to company imperatives.

💪 About You

• The Mindset: You embody our value "Do Work You Can Be Proud Of." You do not aim for speed at the expense of substance, and you reject the anti-pattern of "shipping just to get it done".

• Experience: You have a proven track record of delivering complex Single Page Applications (SPAs) and have experience leading technical delivery within a team environment.

• Hard Skills: You are an expert in React, TypeScript, and Redux. Experience with MUI (Material-UI) and building observability into features from day one is highly valued.

• Soft Skills: You practice Empathy & Candor. You give feedback directly but with care, and you have the candor to seek assistance when stuck, viewing it as a sign of trust rather than weakness.
